Destination Israel and Palestine
I have just returned from one of the most fascinating trips of my life - Israel and Palestine.
This was one of the fastest trips that I have ever had - only 80 hours in the country itself - but it has certainly made one of the most significant impacts of all of my travels over the past 30 years.
Mere words and this web site cannot do the country justice. Jerusalem is a symphony of rich colours, tastes, sounds and smells. The desert - and in it, the Dead Sea, Masada and Bethlehem - offers sights everyone should behold in person.
I would be delighted to share my experiences with you, some of which I have on the next few pages. If you have loads of film, if you enjoy the thrill or bargaining in souks and if you have a hunger for some of the most interesting history and culture in the world, Israel may be of interest to you!
